10 Things you can Buy to make your car feel like NEW

If like me you get bord of driving your car after about 6-10 months and see yourself eyeing up new or other cars because you fancy a change, has it ever occured to you to simply update and modifiy the car you have now ?

Not only will it save you a lot of money, suprisingly enough assuming you dont make it look completley nasty you may find that you can get more for your car when you come to sell it or trade it in for another one.

There are so many new, upcoming styling shops appearing all over the world and on the internet selling both exterior and interior styling and if you have ever watched "Pimp my Ride" i am sure you've always thought, i would love to do that to my car..well there is'nt anything acually stopping you. You can make your car feel new or like a completley different car for only a couple of hundred and below im going to open your eyes to exactly what you can buy for your car and explain how different it will extend the life of your current vechicles life.

1. RACING STEERING WHEEL
It is the main control for your car, the thing you have your hands on (all of the time i hope). The thing that determines what the handling of the road and each corner and its very easy to replace on most car.
A 5 minute job and for about £45 you can replace your steering wheel with a proper racing style steering wheel for better grip and a much better, superior sporty look and feel. Replacing your steering wheel might not feel like a big deal but it really can change the whole dynamics of your car, it makes you feel like your driving a rally car or one of those arcade games and there isn nothing better than a wheel replacement to feel the pure raw feel of how your car really handles.

2. ALLOY WHEELS OR RIMS
Getting your wheels replaced can not only totally improve the look of your car it can also totoally change how your car feels when driving it, if you get some nice 19" alloy wheels added for your car with some awesome low profile tyres you would be amazed at how much difference it makes your car handle and feel. They give it that more real, sporties feel that makes you feel every single corner.

That seat you sit in wasn't really designed for comfort it was made that way because its a standard car, the seating in most cars is very basic and very padded and are purely made like that because they are mass produced. I'm not talking new bulbs here. 5. GEAR STICK KNOB
It's what you use to change gears and you don't realise how acustomed you have become to it, the texture the shape the material, youve changed gears so many times the things just become dull. Well like steering wheels these things build up a lot of grime, your gear numbers have probably started to fade and its probably discolouring from the amount of use. Most Gear knobs simply pop or screw off and can be replaced in seconds from solid steel, racing shape grippy ones or even light up neon ones or novelty 8-ball or skull gear knobs which look so cool in any car and all for as little as £9

Almost every car ive owned always comes with black, basic plastic foot pedals and once youve driven anything sporty you realise how much more confortable, grippy and controllable your car feels when you replace them with some sporty stainless steel ones with rubber grips. Never again will your foot slipp off the pedals and not only does it make a huge difference to your car it also looks the business as well.

7. REPAINT OR REPLACING THE DASHBOARD
If you have a favorite colour why not apply it to your car or look around for replacement styling parts, most parts of your dashboard clip off and can be easily primed and painted for under £10 to give your car that shinier newer look or feel. Or if your not into D.I.Y why not shop around on the net for dashboard, panels and door cards etc for your specific car, youd be suprised what you can pick up from replacement chrome, colour coded or even carbon fibre panels that replace older ones to refresh and totally transform the interior of your cars cockpit.

8. IN CAR ENTERTAINMENT
It is so cheap nowadays to buy a flip out screen TV, or drop down DVD screen for your car and they are designed to be easy to replace. I recently replaced my car stereo on my BMW for only £129 and it literally took me 10 minutes to get the new system setup and im not a techy person. A New system will make you go back to enjoying driving around again with all your songs or even videos at the touch of a button.

9. CAR MATS
It might seem like a tiny difference and you probably replace them every couple of years anyway. But you have to admit, when you do replace your old worn mats for brand new good quality material ones it feels great climbing back into your car again with that none worn soft feeling underneath your feet. If you are going to colour code your car why not get your car mats to match.

10. PRE CUT WINDOW TINTS
Window Tints can totally transform the lighting inside your car and look great outside your car, especially at night. I personally am not a fan of Limo black windows but medium tints look great on a dark car at night it adds a bit of mystery to your car and gets heads turning and also makes your car feel different if you dont already have tints.
